About Me

 Hi, my name is Ashley Harrel! I am the owner of Ashley Nicole Photography! That's me over there with the red hair :)

I am.. a follower of Jesus first, momma to 4 wonderful children (3 boys and finally my girl!), and a wife to my favorite country boy! We currently reside in Viola, KS (About 20 minutes South of Wichita!)

Our family recently relocated to the lovely state of Kansas from Southern Missouri due to my husband's job promotion.

I love to spend my time hanging with my family, decorating cakes for their birthdays, singing, and playing/watching their sports etc.

Also, I am goofy, love to laugh, use a lot of exclamation points and emojis and I know its cliché.. but I also love my coffee (hot or iced!).

Photography started as a hobby as a kid, documenting everything and taking my siblings' senior portraits. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed it and many years later, finally opened my business in 2017!

I especially love photographing fresh 48 and in home documentary newborns but also find joy in many other sessions including graduating seniors, families, maternity and everything around, about, and in between. Most of my sessions end up being very candid and unscripted and that's what I love about them the most.

Of course, we try to get that one "Christmas Card" photo, but for the rest of your session with me, I like to have fun and prompt for a response or action instead of posing, documenting the real. The photos that you’ll see me post or brag about aren’t the ones I’ve posed or everyone smiling, they're the ones that are caught in between.
